Everglades Action Day

Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Everglades Action Day on February 10 & 11 in Tallahassee.

Register for our 2020 Everglades Action Day HERE!

Since 2012, Floridians celebrate Everglades Day on April 7, in honor of legendary Everglades activist Marjory Stoneman Douglas’ birthday. The state’s support for Everglades Day ensures that the famed ecosystem remains a top priority for elected officials. The Everglades Coalition celebrates Everglades Day by mobilizing to Tallahassee for a Day of Action in the State’s Capitol.

This year, Everglades Action Day has been moved to February 11th to coincide with the Florida Legislature’s early session.

Join fellow advocates from all corners of the state and meet with legislators to discuss the importance of a healthy Everglades ecosystem for a clean water supply and for a strong economy. Now marking the 8thconsecutive year, your voice on Everglades Action Day ensures that the famed ecosystem remains a top priority for elected officials!

This will be a full two-day event with FREE group transportation available! We will also be offering a limited number of scholarships to cover lodging for students and other individuals.

New to advocacy? No problem. Training and materials will be provided.

See you in Tallahassee!
